How much do we carry that we don’t even realize- and how much of it's even ours? Often we take on the energy of our family, job, or even the weight of the world. It’s that tension you can’t seem to get rid of. That pain that no one can figure out. It's layers of energy that have built up and caused pain, illness or emotional distress.
If you take a moment to sit in the silence and breathe, you’ll know, you’ll see what you’ve been carrying. Maybe an emotion comes up to be released, or a memory that doesn’t feel good. How many times do I need to release this, you’ll ask? It's that same experience or person that keeps haunting you.
It’s in the release of these layers of energy, of emotion and memories that healing takes place. But you’ve got to take time to feel it and release it. We tend to run from pain, distract ourselves because we don’t want to feel it again. Wasn’t that first time enough? But often we must process it until we get a deeper understanding. And if it’s something so painful you can’t look at, when it comes up, see it, surrender it to Spirit, and over time, layer by layer, you’ll start to feel freer and lighter.
You don’t have to carry something forever. Yes, it's a part of you, but you can start to heal by releasing the emotional attachment to it. Begin the healing process by shedding one layer at a time. Feel it and surrender it to heal it.
