Publishing in Nature Cancer, Oregon Health & Science University and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center researchers investigated the effects of lipids and their modifying enzymes on the progression of pancreatic cancer. Automated Prep for Serial Block Face Scanning EM
Researchers at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, East Carolina University, and Cleveland Clinic published in the journal Nutrients on the effects of high-fat-diet (HFD)-induced obesity on the mitochondrial respiration of splenic B cells, involved in insulin resistance, inflammation, and responses to infection. The ASP-1000 was used to prepare specimens for 3D serial block face scanning electron microscopy (SBFEM).
