Where: Woodland Springs Lake Carmel, IN When: June 15, 2024. Time: 9:00am start and weigh in no later than 3:00pm Rules: - Woodland Springs residents and family members only
- Life jackets are required for all participants.
- Indiana Fishing License is not required.
- Official Start & Weigh in Location: Boat Ramp
- All carp must be live for weigh in

Prizes: - 1st Place Payout Total Weight: $100.00
- 2nd Place Payout Total Weight: $50.00
- 3rd Place Payout Total Weight: $25.00

2024-25 SOCIAL COMMITTEE EVENTS - Book Club: Every 2nd Tuesday of the month 7–9 PM. In the Clubhouse. Contact Person: Gerrie Bonarrigo.
Lecture Series: Lake Health speaker from Purdue Extension, Thursday evening in July (pending). Pickleball Tournament: Pending. "Sixth" of July Celebrations: Bike parade and boat parade along with other activities. - Red, White, and Blue Children's Bike Parade on Saturday, July 6th at 10 am. Decorate your bikes and meet at the clubhouse parking lot for a parade around the nearest cul-de-sac ending with ribbons back at the clubhouse parking lot.
- Decorated Boat Parade to gather on July 6th at 6 pm in the middle of the lake. Will parade around the lake ending with awards at small island. All boats will then eventually move to the south end of lake in preparation for fireworks at dusk.
Adult Euchre Group: Starting in August, 3rd Wednesday evening of each month 6:30-8:30 PM. In the Clubhouse. Bring an appetizer to share and your own beverage. Contact Persons: Donna and Dwight Creger. Pirates on the Lake: September 7th with rain date September 14.

POOL AND COURTS ACCESS FOBS
A key fob is required to access the pool and court gate. The key fob which was given to each family in 2019 is still valid.

WOODLAND SPRINGS BOOK CLUB
The Book Club is open to all Woodland Springs residents.
The book club meets at the clubhouse on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Meetings begin promptly at 7:00 pm. Books can cover any genre, though it has been requested that we avoid science fiction and horror.
Please check the Nextdoor WS Book Club Group page as we will post any supplemental material available, such as links to author interviews, questions, and publisher promotional packets.

PAGE FAMILY FIREWORKS
A NOTE FROM THE PAGE FAMILY...
We are planning to shoot our Fireworks on Saturday, July 6th. Sunset is predicted to be at 9:15 pm. We usually start shooting between 9:30pm-9:45pm, once it gets dark enough.
The hill west of the Woodland Springs Clubhouse is a common gathering place to watch our fireworks if you want a sense of community and togetherness.
*IMPORTANT NOTE: the Woodland Springs (north) big island will be off limits from Wednesday, July 3rd until Tuesday, July 9th. It simply isn’t going to be safe during that time and we want everyone to enjoy the weekend while staying free from danger.

ARCHITECTURAL CHANGES
Recognizing that we're all busy, the Woodland Springs Board of Directors has tried to make the Architectural Change Request Process as efficient as possible.
To make it easier, we have provided guidance and an online request form.
The intention of this review/approval is not to discourage or prevent residents from making improvements. On the contrary, we love improvements.
As an HOA, our interest is to protect and increase property values. Part of the Board of Directors' fiduciary responsibility is to ensure the guidelines outlined within the Covenants of 2011 are followed.
The most common requests being submitted are for sheds, fences, and cement repair. If you are ever in doubt about whether to fill out the Architectural Change Request, you can fill one out and we will advise that it wasn't needed. We are always looking for additional neighbors to volunteer for the committee. Please reach out if you have interest.
