A kind shout out to Jim Bogner who cut up and removed the downed tree on the island!  That saved Woodland Springs $590!

Also, take a moment to thank Dan Weingart for his donation of annual flowers around the pool and Lakeshore East entrance. Dan has been donating and planting pots around the pool since 2019. Dan is owner of GreenImage Landscape & Design

Thank you to all who help make Woodland Springs a great place to live!

ARCHITECTURAL CHANGES

Recognizing that we're all busy, the Woodland Springs Board of Directors has tried to make the Architectural Change Request Process as efficient as possible.

To make it easier, we have provided guidance and an online request form.

The intention of this review/approval is not to discourage or prevent residents from making improvements. On the contrary, we love improvements.

As an HOA, our interest is to protect and increase property values. Part of the Board of Directors fiduciary responsibility is to ensure the guidelines outlined within the Covenants of 2011 are followed.

DANGERS OF GRASS CLIPPINGS

Many experts consider freshly cut grass clippings as hazardous as sand, gravel, or similar substances. Grass clippings act almost like sheets of ice when strewn or blown onto a paved road.
Water constitutes for up to 80% of grass, causing it to become extremely slippery under pressure.

When you are mowing, make sure to blow your grass clippings towards your house and away from the road. Motorcyclists and bicyclists lives may depend on it.

The best time to mow your lawn is just after the dew or daily watering has dried off, but before it really gets hot. Be considerate of your neighbors, try not to mow before the typical breakfast time and do your best to stop mowing before the typical dinner time.
